Adding Images and Media

Webpages can be a bit lack lustre without an image or two to add interest and convey your message .

You can add images when creating or editing any page. To add an image to a webpage you need to use the Insert / Modify Image button found within the WYSIWYG editor toolbar.

Before you click, make sure that the cursor is located at the place in your page where you want the image to appear. Clicking at the beginning of a text paragraph usually works well.

Insert / Modify Image: If an image is NOT selected, clicking this icon will open the Image Manager.

If an image IS selected, then clicking this icon will open the 'Modify Image Properties' popup window.

To modify the image properties of the selected image, set the required attributes and click the 'Modify' button.

Insert / Modify Flash: If a flash movie is NOT selected, clicking this icon will open the Flash Manager.

If a flash movie IS selected, then clicking this icon will open the 'Modify Flash Properties' popup window.

To modify the properties of the selected flash movie, set the required attributes and click the 'Modify' button.

Insert / Modify Media file: If a media file is NOT selected, clicking this icon will open the Media Manager.

If a media file IS selected, then clicking this icon will open the 'Modify Image Properties' popup window.

To modify the image properties of the selected image, set the required attributes and click the 'Modify' button.

Insert Custom HTML: There may be a list of available items to insert that you can preview and choose from. This list will usually contain customized items in HTML such as logos and formatted text specific to your site. To preview an item, click on the item in the list, and the item will appear the preview field below. To select the item, click on it and choose 'OK'.
